About Us
March For Our Lives Georgia is a chapter of March For Our Lives, an organization working to harness the power of young people across the country to fight for sensible gun violence prevention policies that save lives. March For Our Lives Georgia was founded by students in 2018 in response to the Parkland shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. One month later, March For Our Lives Georgia organized sister protests to the March For Our Lives protest in DC, including one in Atlanta that attracted crowds of 30,000. Today, March For Our Lives Georgia continues to fight for gun violence prevention in chapters across Georgia.
Our Work We work with youth organizers from all over the state in order to educate, advocate, and empower young people to fight for holistic gun safety, pursuing education programs, legislative action, and grassroots organizing in order to make our communities safer for everyone.
